What is Redeeming Family?

Our purpose in hosting Redeeming Family is to equip and encourage families to fully engage in living out the biblical Christian faith in all aspects of life. We host weekly original content, FREE downloadable resources such as Bible Studies and curriculum, and Christian Books to help your family engage in Reformed Biblical Living. What are Your Beliefs?

All our beliefs are formed and founded upon the truth of God’s Word. We are thoroughly creedal in our convictions, affirming the Apostles, Nicene, and Athanasian creeds. We are firmly confessional in our summary understanding of God’s Word. We appreciate the Reformed Confessional faiths that many of our beliefs on various topics are found. These are best summarized in the Westminster Confession and Catechism, Belgic Confession, Heidelberg Catechism, and Cannons of Dort. We appreciate additional historic creedal and confessional statements and summaries of the Christian faith, but the above listed are the main summaries of the scriptures we reference in our writing.

Why Was Redeeming Family and Press Started?

Redeeming Family began when God placed a burden on our hearts to encourage and train families to grow in the Lord. We teach what God’s word says about how we are living, how we are to raise our families, and how we are to spend our time. Too often, we hear of Christians who are unequipped to become people of God. Christ has redeemed our life and we pray that He would use this page to help us redeem our families. To bring our families back to Christ and learn to read and seek God’s will through His Word.

How Can I Find Out More Information on Contributing?

We welcome posts from guest writers who are Reformed Christians and hold to one of the above confessions.
